Laura Miranda is a celebrity NYC Physical Therapist and Professional Fitness Motivator.  She is the CEO and founder (head Sweat Entrepreneur) of Gay Men’s Boot Camp, the first and only boot camp program dedicated to gay men IN NYC; and Strong Healthy Woman, which develops successful boot camp and individual training programs for women in NYC and Long Island. Her unique fitness style has been featured on the WB 11 Morning News and NY1 and in numerous national print publications such as Shape and Crain’s New York Business.

Laura holds a unique niche in the field of health and wellness by combining her complex understanding of human movement as a clinical Physical Therapist with her knowledge of fitness and nutrition as a Personal Fitness Trainer and mega motivator.

Laura earned a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of South Carolina. During that time she became a Certified Personal Trainer (ACE) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) specializing in collegiate athlete conditioning programs. She is also a graduate of Hunter College in New York City with a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to founding Miranda Fitness Concepts, she was Clinical Director of Physical Therapy at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in Manhattan.
