Dr. Lawler, D.O., is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and Board Certified Interventional Pain Management Physician. He specializes in treatment of neck and low back, which affects millions of patients worldwide. Dr. Lawler’s area of expertise uses minimally invasive techniques to treat spine pain and increase the function of patient’s lives.

Dr. Lawler is a graduate from Boston University and received his Doctorate of Osteopathy from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine founded in 1892.  Steeped in tradition, Dr. Lawler maintains the philosophy of Osteopathic Medicine while balancing the newest techniques and excellence when treating his patients in pain. Some of Dr. Lawler’s notoriety includes being listed as a “Leading Physician of the World”, spotlighted in the “Guide for America’s Top Physician” as well as “Cambridge’s Who’s Who among Osteopathic Physicians”.

Dr. Lawler entered private practice in 2002 joining Elite Anesthesia and Pain Management, followed by Bergen Pain Management® in 2009. He is currently on staff at St. Michael’s Hospital and Medical Center, in addition to several ambulatory centers in New Jersey.  He has offices in New Jersey located in West New York, Paramus, and Union.

Dr. Lawler is fully accredited in the field of Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology.  He stays up to date with the most current techniques while being an active member in The American Society of Pain Medicine, North American Spine Society, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.  Dr. Lawler was recently recertified by the American Board of Pain Medicine and is credentialed until 2025.
