Dr. Pizzano was born in Italy, where his father was a physician. He moved to the U.S. and graduated from the New York School of Podiatric Medicine in 1993, followed by two years of Podiatric Surgical residency in New Jersey at Union Hospital and Saddle Brook Surgicenter. In 1995, Dr. Pizzano began his career practicing in Newton, NJ, where he still has an office. He joined Roxbury Foot and Ankle Center in February 2009, specializing in foot surgery, foot and ankle biomechanics, diabetic foot care and other foot and ankle ailments. He is Board Qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

Dr. Pizzano treats his patients using state-of-the-art technology, including computerized gait analysis to correct poor foot function. He also utilizes the latest techniques to treat common foot problems including but not limited to heel pain, diabetic wound care, nail disease and sports injuries. His other services include custom-molded foot orthotics, custom foot and ankle bracing and diabetic shoe wear. When foot surgery becomes necessary, he has extensive experience and utilizes advanced techniques with a focus on aesthetic results.

Dr. Pizzano strongly believes in educating patients to understand their conditions, so they can resolve them faster and resume their active and pain-free lives.
