Cami Smalley is an educator, consultant, trainer, marketer, and founder of enroot, a New England based corporation, where she is engaged in the development of education programs and reseller communications for health food and supplement companies in the human and pet industries, in addition to pet supply stores. Her work for these companies emphasizes employee and reseller education of the product line, for increasing knowledge and confidence. Through Webinars and training resources, enroot‘s programs incorporate a nutrition education platform and certification processes. With a customer-centered education entity, the objectives are to enhance product knowledge, brand loyalty and build strong sales.

Cami earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Animal Behavior from Colorado State University and was accepted into an internship in Marine Mammal Behavior at the University of Hawaii before entering the commercial world. She currently volunteers as a photographer at the local Ronald McDonald House, and makes use of her continuing education courses in nutrition and herbs through her volunteer work at Cultivating Community. Cami sits on the Board of Directors for Friends of the Eastern Promenade in Portland, ME., where she has volunteered with helping preserve, protect and enhance the East End parks and green spaces since Spring 2012.

Cami has held positions as Director of Sales and Education Director at The Honest Kitchen, Inc. a pet food company that manufactures goumet, human-grade pet food products for dogs and cats using dehydrated whole foods, and as Animal Research Technician at the Scripps Research Institute.
